Join PSM Structures to translate complex engineering designs into high-precision technical blueprints. As a Structural Steel Draftsman, you will be responsible for developing the foundational drawings that drive our industrial and PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) projects. You will work at the intersection of design and fabrication, ensuring every steel connection and section meets elite structural standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for structural steel works
- Detailed steel connection detailing, sections, and shop drawings using AutoCAD * Conversion of engineering and design inputs into accurate working drawings
- Coordination with structural engineers to resolve drawing-related queries
- Understanding of steel sections, fabrication practices, PEB structures, and industrial buildings
- Knowledge of Tekla Structures and Indian Standards (IS codes) will be an added advantage
Experience & Qualifications
- Diploma or ITI certification in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Drafting
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for structural detailing
- A strong understanding of steel sections and modern fabrication practices
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in structural steel drafting
